Basketball Queensland (BQ) has 36 affiliated basketball associations across Queensland, from the far north right through to the Darling Downs and the Gold Coast.

Each basketball association or club has a dedicated team of staff and volunteers to operate basketball training and competitions, with membership numbers ranging from a couple of hundred participants into the thousands.

Associations are bound by BQ’s operating guides and procedures, but each association has its own distinct culture and fosters a close-knit community culture through club competitions, representative involvement and other activities.
