Scoretable

About

Scoretable officials work in partnership with referees to officiate the match, and to communicate the progress of the game.
Scoretable officials:
- Keep records of scores, fouls and timeouts
- Operate the game clock and shot clock
- Provide a communication point between the referees, the players and coaches and anyone else watching the game

Queensland Scoretable provides education, training, development and guidance for all levels of scoretable roles and levels of skill (grass roots through to the elite). With basketball competitions being held throughout the state all year round, opportunities are always available for those looking to become a scoretable official. Scoretable courses are run throughout the year, with development pathways in place to allow career progression from junior club basketball to NBL1, right through to the international level of officiating. This development strategy is in line with Basketball Australia’s officials’ development framework.
