Three associations across Queensland will receive a share in over $102,000 in funding from Round 105 of the Queensland Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF).
This time round basketball organisations had funding approved for a number of different projects including upgrades to their facilities and lighting.
The GCBF is Queensland’s largest one-off grants program for community-based, not-for-profit organisations, with grants between $500 to $35,000 available to help community groups provide services and leisure activities around the state.
Associations and clubs have five funding opportunities throughout the year to submit their GCBF applications:
- 28 February (29 February in a leap year)
- 30 April
- 30 June
- 31 August
- 31 October
Applications for the next round of the GCBF (Round 107) are now open and will close at 11:59pm on 31 October 2020.
