2023 Future Development Program

Basketball Queensland is excited to announce the emerging athletes that have been selected for this year's Future Development Program (FDP). 

FDP is the entry-level tier of BQ's High Performance Program, focusing on the identification, support and development of athletes aged 12-13 years old, and on the development of aspiring talent coaches. 

Through on-court sessions, BQ will introduce these athletes to aspects of the BQ Style of Play with a strong focus on individual skill development. The athletes will be exposed to several workshops, including the introduction to BQ’s wellness app iNSPIRETEK, effective ways to look after their bodies, and how to play at the next level. The program will finish with an All-State Camp where all athletes will come together in a high-intensive competitive environment.
